NEW PLANNING APPLICATION
JGP Properties have in an amended planning application to build up to 150 houses on the field behind Chaddesden Wood.
If this happens, the wood will be completely surrounded by houses and the natural corridors to the open countryside beyond, will be blocked for the many bats, birds and small creatures that live and nest in the wood.
The amended application has had several documents updated and some of the queries raised in the autumn have been answered. However, the statements and documents relating to Chaddesden Wood are still unacceptable to us.

CONSERVATION TASK EVENTS
Conservation task events are held monthly, usually on the first Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. There will be no events during August, because of holidays. Everyone is welcome to participate, however please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. These will be publicised on notice boards, and circulated by email to all registered members, during the week prior to the event.

As part of the Derby City Council Green Spaces working arrangement,
management meetings are held during the year, they will comprise:
